The primary function of a atmosphere controlled vacuum furnace is to perform heat treatment process of materials such as metals and alloys under low atmospheric pressure. The absence of air or other gases in the vacuum environment allows precise temperature control and uniform heating of the workpiece, leading to improved quality and consistency in the heat treatment process.
